This painting was created to have three levels of depth. The background is airbrushed, creating a blurry, faraway perspective. The fennec fox (a species of small foxes native to the deserts of North Africa) is painted with brushes and acrylic paint. The two cacti in the foreground and parts of the rocky ground are textured using modeling paste and a palette knife and protrude slightly outward from the panel. These techniques give this painting a truly unique look and depth.

Dimensions: 8 x 8 inches, depth of the panel is 3/8 inches.

This original painting was created using high-quality acrylic paint on a smooth archival artist's panel. The edges of the panel are painted so it may be displayed unframed, if desired. This painting has a texture to the cacti and rocks in the foreground created using modeling paste. The panel has a built-in hanging hole, so it arrives ready to hang.

This artwork has been varnished with a soft satin finish.
