This portrait was inspired by the unmatched beauty of the sumatran tiger and my desire to capture it in all its glory in a large scale piece. I took extra care in creating a striking gaze in the eyes and adding a lot of depth and details in the tiger's coat. I wanted it to look like you could reach out and stroke his fur.

Dimensions: 24 x 30 inches, depth of the canvas is 7/8 inches.

This painting was created using high-quality, archival acrylic paint on a professional grade stretched canvas with heavy duty wooden stretcher bars. All of the edges are painted so it may be hung without being framed, if desired. The back of the canvas has a sturdy hanging wire already attached so the painting will arrive ready to hang.

This artwork has been varnished with a soft satin finish.
